Model 29T 0-30uADC Scale 12 to 0 DB Gain Reduction, 4 Color Dial, for BA-5A Limiter clone, Simpson Electric
This meter is made for BA-5A Limiter clones. The original GE BA-5A Limiter used 4" meters, which were not included in the standardization of ANSI C39.1 1981 and were discontinued. The 43180 is a 4.5" ANSI size, very close to the 4", but different enough to prevent it from being a direct replacement for the original GE BA-5A Limiter. If you require a replacement for an original GE BA-5A Limiter, contact us regarding a meter retrofit service. This is where we put a new meter movement into your old panel meter case.
Made with a self-shielding Annular d'Arsonval movement, this meter can be installed in steel panels without requiring recalibration. The Pivot and Jewel suspension is spring-loaded for shock protection. The case and cover feature the original Bakelite construction.
As a Simpson Authorized Modification and Repair Center, we keep the lead time short by stocking unfinished meters and completing final modifications and calibration in our laboratory. This meter, when produced this way, is not Underwriter Laboratories Recognized.
