The type HA has an insulating base and can be mounted on conductive surfaces. Available in ranges of 0.5 amp through 600 amps with a 50mV output and 1 amp through 600 amps with a 100mV output, the HA is designed for power cable hook-up utilizing the 3/8-16 screws. This popular design is available without the insulating base if desired.
Note:
For continuous operation, it is recommended that shunts not run at more than two thirds (2/3) the rated current under normal conditions of use as per AIEEE standards.
