GFM-041x071 EI
Model GFM Ground Fault Sensor (only), 4.1"x7.1" Window, 6-30A Trip Current, Electromagnetic Industries
GROUND FAULT CURRENT SENSOR
The GFM system is designed for electrical equipment protection, not for personnel protection.
Ground Fault Current Sensors, type GFM, are available in three different case styles, a variety of sizes and trip current ranges - to match the GFM Relay. The physical size of the sensor window should be carefully determined by the physical size and configuration of the power conductors. The Ground Fault Sensor will respond only to ground faults which occur between the position of the sensor and the load. These sensors are only for use with EI GFM relays.
Trip Ranges: 2.0-8.5 to 15-65 Amps, depending on the part number
Trip Current Tolerance is ± 15 percent
Frequency: 50/60 HZ
Insulation Level: 600 Volt, 10 kV BIL full wave.
Terminals: No. 8-32 brass
CAUTION:
All appropriate safety precautions must be followed for the installation of these devices including de-energizing the incoming power prior to installation. It is recommended the sensor be installed by a trained electrician.
This sensor must have its secondary terminals shorted, or have the relay connected prior to energizing the primary circuit.
