Simpson used the same resistors and locations for the ohms range for the 260 series 6, 7, 8 and 8xi. We source the resistors from Simpson Electric. The resistor appearance may change from the picture as Simpson changes vendors. For the 260 series 6, you must replace all of the resistors as the original 260-6 ohms ranges resistors were slightly different values. We cannot guarantee accuracy in the 260-6 ohm ranges if the new values and old values resistors are mixed together. This kit is not compatible with the 260 series 6XL.
