Includes Bakelite outer and glass, sealed together. An anti-static coating must be applied before installation. This can be done by allowing a mild solution of blue Dawn soap to dry on the surfaces. Alternatively, all surfaces of the cover could be rubbed with a dryer sheet, which is normally used as a fabric softener and is made for dissipating static charges. We never understood why Simpson doesn't apply the coating before packaging these. Dimensions W: 5.15 inches x H: 4.15 inches.
