The WireMaster XR  is the perfect test set for verifying the continuity of
2, 3, or 4 pair cables.   It senses reversed, shorted, transposed, crossed or
open pairs.  It also generates tracer tones  for locating un-energized    LAN
cables with an inductive tracer,  such as the   Triplett Hound or Hound 2
Probe.    The single selector switch sets the transmitter to  RJ-45 of RJ-11.
The 8 LED's  on the  Transmitter Unit act as a reference,  or source,   while
the  LED's  on the receiver unit display the actual destination of each con-
ductor within the cable.    The transmitter can also be user   configured via
jumper blocks within the unit.These jumper settings control various options
including the tracer tone and the direction and speed of the LED's. You can
also switch between 4 and 6 conductor RJ-11 cable types.
The handy carrying case keeps both units together and protected.
