Functions
When used in conjuction with a   Triplett Model 4 or 5 Loop Tester, or any
VOM or DMM, the Mini-Fault Locator will quickly and easily find open
circuit faults in single (0.122µF/mile) and paired (0.083µF/mile)
telephone cables. Simply connect the Mini-Fault Locator's leads to your
testers input jacks , select cable type (single or pair) and the appropiate
range, then press the "Push to Feel"button to make the measurement.
The distance to the open falt will be indicatd on your DC Volt Meter.

The Mini-Fault Locator also provides direct-through-connedtion.  You
can immediately return to VOM and Tone measurement functions without
disconnecting the leads

The Mini-Fault Locator is available in two versions; Stand-alone Unit
for use with standard VOM of  DMM and the Lid Unit which fits into the
cover of Model 4 & 5.
