S-660 - Preset Totalizer 20 KHz

The S660 is a versatile totalizing counter that can be adopted to a wide variety of counting, measuring and controlling applications. The selection of control inputs offers several counter operation modes; count/direction, add/add, add/subtract, quadrature, and reverse quadrature. This model is a multi-function counter that allows the end user to track the rate (speed) of a product and continuously monitor the product quantity for a given process. The
count and rate displays have separate pro-
grammable decimal point settings and scaling values. The S663 supports two independent output channels with four modes of operation
disabled, timed, latched and boundary. Both
channels can be reset simultaneously or
independently of each other.

volving speed and is capable of counting in four diferent time modes; hours, minutes, seconds and second/thousands (msec). the msec rate mode increases the frequency resolution to .001 Hz within the range of 1 to 999.999 Hz. Some examples are feet per minute (FPM), revolutions per minute (RPM), revolutions or pulses per second (RPS or Hz) and gallons per minute
(GPM).

S-662 - Preset Batch/Dual 20 KHz

The S662 is a multi-function counter that can be easily configured to operate either in dual mode
or a totalizing/batch mode. In both modes, each display has separate scaling and reset functions.
When programmed to function in the dual mode, full direction control is maintained for the total- izing and batch counts. In the totalizing/batch mode the secondary value ( batch count) is incremented only after the primary totalizing count has completed its cycle.

This counter offers a wide input frequency range from 1 Hz to 35 KHz and four display ranges of 99.99 Hz, 999.9 Hz, 9.999 Hz and
35 KHz.
The easiest to use counter in the S660 counter series, the S664 offers 12 VDC,
100 ma sensor excitation and requires no
programming to use. After the counter is mounted and wired, selecting the appropriate
frequency range is the only setup for this
counter

Quadrature input allows the counter to handle a broad range of applications, such
as Linear Measurements in Textile, Wire, Steel and Packaging Industries.

Password protection prevents undesired access to settings.

Non-Volatile EEPROM memory stores the count when power is removed .

Count rates up to 10 Khz are accepted and pulses from different types of sensors
including switches, CMOS or TTL circuits and PNP or NPN devices.

Two presets are standard and optional field-replaceable relay cards and 12 VDC
(100mA) excitation offer application versatility.

The 1/8 DIN counter is perfect for tight spaces, extending only 3.24" (82mm)
behind the panel,.

Unique ratched clips are used for fast panel mounting.

Large, tactile front panel buttons guard against accidental misprogramming.

Easy to read 6 digit, bright red, 0.56" LED display provides high visibility and
wide angle viewing.

Optional, Nema (4/1P65) rated, front cover can be used protect the S660 in
washdown environments
